Maserati MC12 Corsa. Derived directly from the MC12 GT1 race car that won Maserati the FIA GT Manufacturers Cup in 2005. Power comes from a V12 naturally aspirated engine producing 745 hp at 8000 rpm. Its only purpose was to allow private individuals to race at track days. In that sense it is similar to its brother, the Ferrari FXX, only that Maserati did not use the MC12 Corsa for research and development purposes. Maserati sold only 12 units at a price around €1 million (US$1.47 million) each.
